Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all cancellations, refunds, no-shows, disputes, and related matters arising out of services booked through the Uluv platform (“Platform”). This Policy constitutes a legally binding agreement between Uluv Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Uluv”, “we”, “us”) and users of the Platform, including pet owners (“Pet Parents”) and service providers (“Caregivers”).

This Policy forms an integral part of, and shall be read in conjunction with, the Terms of Service and any applicable service-specific terms (collectively, the “Platform Terms”).

By accessing or using the Platform, or by making or accepting a booking, you expressly agree to be bound by this Policy.

Pet Parents acknowledge that pet care services inherently involve risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, stress, escape, or death of pets, even when reasonable care is exercised. By using the Platform, Pet Parents voluntarily assume all such risks and agree that Uluv shall not be responsible for any adverse outcomes, except to the extent caused by Uluv’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

In case of any inconsistency between this Cancellation & Refund Policy and the Terms of Service, this Policy will prevail only with respect to cancellations, refunds, and related disputes

Uluv operates solely as a technology-enabled intermediary facilitating connections between Pet Parents and independent Caregivers. Uluv is not a provider of pet care services and shall not be deemed to be an employer, agent, partner, or insurer of any Caregiver. Uluv does not control, supervise, or guarantee the quality, safety, legality, suitability, or reliability of services provided by Caregivers. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Uluv shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, or death of a pet; any act, omission, negligence, or misconduct of a Caregiver or Pet Parent; any damage to property; or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Platform.

Each confirmed booking constitutes a direct contractual arrangement between the Pet Parent and the Caregiver. Uluv is not a party to such contract and shall not be liable for performance of services, except as expressly set out herein.

Uluv facilitates payments, communication, and dispute resolution on a best-efforts basis.
